March 10th --- 17th is MS Awareness Week. The Ogden MS walk is April 26th and I will be walking with the Wolthuis Walkers. This will be the 4th year walking and it is always a great experience. People of all ages walk (about 3-5 miles) and the energy and purpose are evident in all. Some are pushed in wheelchairs, some walk with canes, children run or strollers are used for babies, groups walk together and the walk doesn't seem too hard because it is for a great fundraiser! I have linked my personal page so that you can donate to this great cause if you would like to do so. It is easy to donate online and it can be used as a tax write off for a donation. My goal is $1,000.00 this year and I think it is achievable. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!Personally, I don't ever want to be defined by my MS. It is definitely a part of my life....but it isn't me. I have learned things about myself from this experience that I wouldn't have known any other way. I am very blessed to be a wife and mother and grandmother. I am happy and busy with good things each day. I would hope I could be remembered for the love I feel for others and the service I have tried to give. Click here to go to Veronica's personal MS page.
