Jazz Fan meets Celtics FanThe kids spent the afternoon in the pool at Megan and Todd's apartment. We then went to an Italian restaurant at Venice Beach. Colton made friends with our waiter who is a "BOSTON CELTICS" fan. When he saw Colton in his JAZZ jersey....our Boston friend was hooked. I had to take a picture of these two "unlikely sports friends."

We are spending a week in California. We flew into Los Angeles on Saturday and Megan and Todd picked us up at the airport. Of course anyone who really knows me recognizes that I HATE TO FLY.....sheer terror at times. Emily gave me her ipod with 8 downloaded songs of David Archuleta's that actually calmed me down. Cannon sat with Grandpa and me and wanted Grandpa to do everything with him...it was very sweet. The biggest disappointment of all......Brittney is in the middle of finals for Dental Hygiene and can't come at all. Johnny is only able to come for 3 days......so there is a feeling of being incomplete.....love everyone together!!!!

Love the pictures, I want to see more!! Sorry about your flying phobia ~ I kinda get that way too and it drives Rod crazy! Looks like everyone is having fun. Stay safe and have a good time. See you when you get back!! Love ya all so much and miss ya!!!
