Wednesday morning, some of the family left to go on a 3 hour zipline activity. They were able to go on 7 long ziplines through the trees towards the south side of the island. It sounds like they had a great time together and all enjoyed the activity. Laurel conquered some of her fear of heights and was able to do the zipline with only a little glitch of nerves.

Back at the condos, Johnny, Brittney, Grandma Char, Colton, Cannon, Creed, Paisley and I were hanging out since we couldn't go on the zipline. The zipline company didn't allow pregnant women to go and so Johnny stayed with Britt and the rest of us. Grandma wasn't sure she wanted to do the zipline and of course, being mom to me, wanted to stay and help with the kids. For the first time on all of our trips, my MS determined some of the things I could and couldn't do. So no zipline for me. We had a good morning. Grandma played War (card game) with Colton and Cannon. Johnny tried to lure one of the thousands of roosters on the island into our condo. Creed and Paisley were angels.
The island of Kauai is full, and I mean FULL of chickens and roosters. As we got off of the airplane at the airport, we say mommy chickens with 6 or more little babies following her across the road. They are everywhere. The roosters start crowing EARLY in the morning and you hear them all day long.
We also had LOUD frogs outside of our condo. We were close to a pond and about 10:00 p.m. the first night, I heard this loud noise and thought there must be a construction crew making that noise. No! FROGS! They serenaded us each and every night. I admit that I had to resort to earplugs to get sleep. The roosters and frogs got the best of me.
Paisley loved climbing up and down the stairs from our condo on the bottom level to the other two that were on the second floor. She has a little bit of a mischievous look.

Veronica and her mommy before we left to meet the other group
Our group got ready and piled into the van. We drove to a mini mall that was located on the way to Wailua. We pushed strollers and found Colton, Cannon, and Crew shirts. Colton got a genuine flowered Hawaiian shirt, just like Magnum P. I.

Creed snoozed on the drive
We arranged to meet at The Brick Oven restaurant (not the one in Provo) in Wailua so that the group could get together for lunch. We had great food, company and the best customer service I have had in a long time. In fact, the owner sent us home with free pizza because his waitress had not gotten John's order right. Of course, we had to stop and get our Hawaiian Blizzard shaved ice again on the way home. That evening, we grilled the rest of our hotdogs and hamburgers at the pool. Another lovely day in Hawaii.
