SUPER HEROES IN IDAHO FALLS

John and I drove to Idaho Falls Friday evening after John finished work for the day. We were excited to have the Halloween weekend with our grandsons and Greg and Em. John and I hung out with Colton and Cannon because Crew was asleep and Greg and Em had a neighborhood Halloween party.

Saturday morning we watched Crew open his birthday gifts we had brought with us. Even though he doesn't turn two till November 14th, we weren't sure if we would see him before then. His brothers were more excited for him to open the presents than Crew seemed to be.

Crew loved his Tonka dump truck that talks and drives.

Crew liked his new Big Brother pajamas. On December 3rd, Crew will be the middle child.

We all scrambled to get ready and out the door. Both Colton and Cannon had basketball games at exactly the same time. John, Emily and Cannon went one way and Greg, Colton, Crew and I went to Colton's game.

Crew melts my heart.

Colton is a very good basketball player. He scored the first basket and kept scoring and also playing a great defensive game. I really enjoyed watching him. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of Cannon playing. I hope to be able to watch him some time.

We met back at Em's and John, Emily and I drove to Rexburg to visit Jocelyn. I can't believe I didn't get one picture of Jocelyn and some of her roommates. We took Jocelyn, Carly, Katie, and Dierdra to the famous Craigo's pizza and pasta lunch buffet. We enjoyed eating and visiting with Jocelyn's cute and very nice roommates. We had to make a quick stop at Walmart for a broom and dustpan and then we dropped Jocey and her roommates at their apartment. They actually passed us driving back to Idaho Falls. They were on a quest to find tulle to make a ballet tutu for their Halloween costumes.

The boys were excited to go trick-or-treating. We started early---4:30. Crew was especially fun to watch. He was so excited to walk up to the doors and hold out his candy bag to receive more candy. The funniest thing happened when Crew had already finished his second lollypop and was holding the sucker stick in his hand. A young girl dropped a piece of candy in his bag and he kept trying to hand her his empty sticky sucker stick. I said, "Crew, grandma will take the stick. Come here!" After he handed it to the young girl 4 times, she finally took it and he smiled and turned back to us and walked to the next house.

Greg and Em have a great family nearby. Mike, the dad, is also a drug rep for AstraZeneca, like Greg. He dressed as a Scottish Lord with his adorable daughters. He has on one of the costumes that stays blown up with hot air.
