CHRISTMAS DAY

We had a great Christmas morning opening gifts and being surprised with some.  The kids all teased me that they received many spiritual presents.....The Stone Cutter DVD, Gordon B. Hinckley DVD, and The Wooden Shoes Christmas book.  (Laurel and Brady even got 'The Work and the Glory' trilogy DVD's.  We watched the two DVD's later in the day and they were fantastic. We all loved them....you will need tissues.  The children gave me a beautiful charm bracelet with each of their names engraved on 5 individual silver disks.  I definitely cried when I opened it.  I love it.  We were also thankful that no one crashed on the snowy hill Christmas Day....Bart got high centered with the old yellow truck doing a good deed snow removal....the boys were able to get him unstuck...so we were grateful all were safe.

John was surprised to find a new leaf blower in the bag....he has to spend way too much time on leaf duty at our house
Em was so happy with her new
Nikon camera
Greg modeling his new sweater
The children all went together to buy John a nice new chair for his office....it was actually the one he had looked at and they didn't know that before buying it
Jocey loved, loved, loved her Twilight calendar!!!

Traditionally, we eat Christmas dinner at my mom's house.  The food is always delicious and we all get together to open presents to and from mom.  We usually play a game or two, but this year the snow came strong and deep while we ate and so we had to leave in a hurry for everyone to drive home.

One of my favorite pictures of Brady
and Laurel during the holidays....(it is not Laurel's favorite picture though....she thinks it makes her look like a pregnant elephant with her scarf hanging in front....I think she is beautiful) not long and our little baby girl will arrive
