Our neighbor, Keri Harris, took pity on the old folks (John and me) and brought her adorable twins, Tag and Macey, trick or treating. No one wants to make the trek up our long drive, I guess, for a lousy piece of candy.

Jared, our nephew, and his wife Ashley, brought their cutest little boys to trick or treat too. They stayed a bit and we always love having them drop by. Preston let me take his picture, but I couldn't get Grant to stand still in his Winnie the Pooh costume.

We slurped soup, buttered rolls, snarfed salads, and loved the sugar in the cookies and the delicious Krispie Kreams that Grandma drove all the way to Layton to get for the party. Topped off the party with a game of cards while the kids played Wii. Family traditions are some of the blessings that keep us moving forward......thanks family for a fun time!

Jocey dressed as an elegant lady wearing the beautiful pill box hat that Susan gave us from some of the hats that Grandma Ellen wore. I thought of Susan's generosity and cried from missing her so much and also thought of Ellen and the wonderful mother-in-law I was blessed to have.

Poor Devin fell asleep on the couch. He had mouth surgery the day before and was still under the weather. We were glad he could come and we enjoyed having Eileen with us.

Thanks for being such a fun, wonderful host. As a family, we do have such crazy and odd members, but I wouldn't change a thing. I love everyone so very much. P.S. I won the card game at my table even when Emily H. doen't have the correct suit...Lot's of love and thanks..
That was a fun night. Thanks for always going out of your way to make everything so perfect!! I know, I know . . enough already!! I should have stopped in Layton to get the Krispy Kream!! I am a horrible person and have a memory of an 95 year old!! It was a fun night anyway and the food was wonderful!!
