THANKS TO OUR SOLDIERS!

Laurel and I had the honor of working with our neighbors, Kyle and Machel Anderson, to place 85 flags on a road in front of a returning soldier's home. Brent has been in Iraq for 18 months. He left when his little girl was 18 months old and his baby boy was 3 months old. His amazing wife, Jennie, has done incredible things while he has been gone. She has organized a Christmas collection drive that she arranged to be sent to her husband's company last Christmas. She has also been the leader of a wives' support group for the company her husband served in. She has given selfless service along with being a caring mother and friend. We so appreciate Brent and his group serving our country. They have made tremendous sacrifices for each of us. We are proud of all of our soldiers! Thank you Brent and Jennie!

Those steel rods were hard to pound in the ground!
This gives a small view of how amazing the street looked.
Machel carried the flags up and down the street.

Kyle worked so hard to put in most of the steel rods.
