BABY SHOWER--FUN--AND FOOD!

Laurel and Grandma Char with the wonderful gifts (Laurel hides her 6-month pregnancy pretty well

We had BLT salad, chicken and rice salad, veggies and dip, watermelon, rolls and Emily's beautiful strawberry trifold and our non Martha Stewart chocolate cupcakes for dessert...

Bluth and Wolthuis girls

We planned a baby shower for Laurel while we knew that Emily and Megan would be in town. We so wish that Brittney could have been with us also. (missed you so much Britt and we missed Jocey since she had the Homecoming dance) Em, Meg, Laurel (yes---Laurel had to help prepare food, etc. for her own shower) Jocey and I worked together. We scurried and laughed the whole day long as we cooked, fouled up recipes, and were finally happy with the end result. It was great to visit with family --- families are the frosting on happy events. Laurel received so many beautiful gifts for little Paisley. She is spoiled already.....can't wait for that wonderful baby girl to arrive.

Two sisters (mine!)

Grandma Leslie (Paisley's other grandmother) with Emily

John's cousin, Kathy, with her daughter Rachel and new little
granddaughter, Claire, and cousin Heidi

The two M's --- Makenzie and Mindy

I wish I lived close so I could have been there. I would have quickly had one of those cupcakes. Laurel doesn't look pregnant at all. Amazing!! Looks like little Paisley is good to go with all the wonderful gifts. Glad all the girls could be together. What a fun weekend for you. Love you!!!
