Not having the sacred experience of being a mother, before our dear Megan was born, I didn't understand the incredible pure and unconditional love that a mother feels for her children. The second that little redhead was born, John and I were totally filled with love for our daughter. We have been blessed to repeat that experience 4 more times.

Megan was born with a full head of beautiful red and I mean red/auburn hair. My mother said that every time she was at the hospital, she heard someone talking about the beautiful red headed baby girl in the nursery. Having said that.....Megan cried for the first 9 months of her life. But as soon as that passed, she has always been a joy and delight in every stage of her life. She has continually made good choices and worked diligently to achieve her goals. She is a great example of an LDS woman. She is a loving wife and daughter and a passionate doctor who cares deeply about the health and care of her patients. She is a caring sister and a doting aunt. Megan you are AMAZING!
We love you Megan and wish you a very happy birthday...sorry it will be spent on call at the hospital. Remember how much you are loved by so many.

Happy birthday to my favorite red-headed niece!! I love you and hope you had a great day ~ even at work!! You had to be the cutest darn baby ever!! You really should be my child, I raised you!!! I loved seeing the picture of you and your 4 darling girls. I couldn't help but think of myself and raising my 4 girls too. I hope I will have the same amazing relationship that you have with your daughters with mine too.
