Tonight Cameron wanted me to try and have Jocey out of the house so that he could come and ask her to the Homecoming Dance. Unfortunately, I was visiting for Relief Society and was going to be gone. Laurel had her Master's class and was also going to be gone. John is on call and has had a long hard week. So that left dear brother-in-law, Brady to do the deed. I asked Brady to think of a way to get her out of the house and he was very creative. He made up a story and told Jocey that he and Laurel had a disagreement about an outfit that she had bought Paisley. He thought he could find a cuter outfit. So, off to Walmart they went. Brady bought his first item for Paisley......a whole whopping $7.00 for a cute onesie top and matching pants. Way to go, Brady. You really do treat Jocey just like a little sister. Thanks for being Johnny's proxy....you are a great brother!!!

In the mean time, Cameron, his brother, Hayden, his cousin, Chandler and his friend, Austin came to DECORATE Jocelyn's room. They covered it in colored spider web STUFF that is creepy and gets all over the place. They coated the carpet in Hershey's kisses and then had a dozen red roses hanging from her ceiling fan with a note. Pretty creative too! Way to go Cameron. So now the pressure is on Jocey to answer Cameron.....thank goodness we found an amazing pink long dress, made by the Eternity label, the same one that made Laurel's wedding dress. Jocey looks beautiful in it...more pictures to come on the day of the dance.

Whatever happened to calling someone on the phone and asking them to go to a dance????? Oh now I remember how it is now....... funny and creative ways to ask someone to a dance, an entire day of activity, dinner and then a little while at the dance waiting in line for pictures then off to another activity.......WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY or should I say TEXT!
PS --- I came home yesterday and saw this squirrel just sitting on our deck post posing......couldn't resist taking a picture. I wish I had my camera today when I parked at Hastings. The car next to me had a big dog on the front seat with a pink paisley neckerchief and two little girl's pink bows on each of her ears. You wouldn't believe it unless you saw it in person or I had taken a picture. Talk about dressing your dog for errands! Brittney, you would have loved it.

Brady does take the older brother role seriously and i am glad they are such good friends. I am glad Jocey is going with cam and what a creative way to ask...jocey we better start brainstorming...
I love your posts! I love how close your family is! Cameron is such a sweet guy. Jocey and him are lucky to have each other. That's such a cute wat to ask! I must say, I'm not even sure I understand this whole entire day activity, dinner, and dance thing. My mom doesn't either. It's crazy how things change through the different generations. Tell Jocey hi for me and that I'm happy for her! :) Love you all!
Brady is definitely one in a million...you guys are sure going to miss the Mocks when they move! What a fun way for Cameron to ask Jocey...can't wait to see the dress!
Oh how fun for Josey! Especially the Hershey's kisses part! Love that! And the note is cute too...now that I've kissed the ground you walk on...VERY clever! Hope she has fun and I can't wait to see the dress!
