LOS ANGELES LIVING

I am officially a STAR STALKER----I totally embarrassed Jocelyn, Megan and Todd as I crept out of California Pizza Kitchen and took John Larroquette's picture while he was talking to his son in the parking lot in Marina del Rey.  For those who don't know who he is----remember Night Court (most of you bloggers are too young to know about this popular show from 1985-88) John Larroquette played womanizing Dan Fielding.  Now he has a show on Hallmark channel about a lawyer called McBride.

Sister Burton and Sister Slaughter

We arrived safely in Los Angles post EARTHQUAKE and quickly headed to the grocery store to shop so that we could prepare dinner for the Sister Missionaries.  (I have to acknowledge that Jocelyn was terribly sweet to let me hold her hand and put my head on her shoulder while we landed---for someone afraid to fly....I have flown every single month since March with flights still to go in August and September)  Back to LA----what a wonderful evening we had with the sisters and Christy, a wonderful member and neighbor of Megan's.  Sister Burton is from Charlotte, North Carolina and Sister Slaughter is from Maine.  What tremendous young women they are. Sister Slaughter is actually a Temple Square missionary....but the sisters leave Salt Lake and serve somewhere else in the United States for at least 3 months of their missions to have a proselytizing  mission experience.   Christy is going to church with us Sunday for the first time since she has lived in LA and we are very excited.

Have a great trip! I do remember that show. I get star struck too whenever I see someone famous. I would have been taking pictures also.

Hi! It was so fun to hear from you! You are so sweat and kind to think of us. I loved looking blog, it is so fun to see what all your kids are doing. Mike and I are doing great, we really miss our families in Utah, but we love Ann Arbor, it is really pretty and we have made a lot of good friends. I will be done with school in April and Mike will be done in 2 years. No kids yet, but hopefully soon!

I have been waiting to see an update and hear about LA. I am so glad that Megan has the missionaries over and she is able to make new friends to share the gospel with. She told me about the situation and that is amazing! I'm glad Jocie was available to hold your hand while flying, you are a trooper!! Hey, I do remember John L. and he looks alot different now (older). WOW!!
