Mormon Myths and Reality
We have all been listening, reading, and evaluating politics as the 2008 Presidential race is firing up the nation. It seems that the main stream media DO NOT want Mitt Romney as the Republican candidate. You hear more myths, exaggerations, and half-truths about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in radio, print, and popular news media than you can digest. Then we have a former preacher, Mike Huckabee, trying to receive the nomination and so his religion is discussed. We have Barrack Obama's childhood religious training in Indonesia being discussed as truth or lies. So........I have linked a video that is very well done featuring Steve Young (sigh) and Sharlene Wells Hawks which goes over myths or reality of the LDS church. This would be a great email link to send to those with questions. Personally, I get heated when politics are discussed because they are important to me. But, I must admit I will be thrilled when the new president is finally elected and we can escape from the constant barrage of propaganda, brain washing, and yes, TRUTH!!! I must at least express how thankful I am to be an AMERICAN and to be free. Free to be annoyed and passionate about politics. I am GRATEFUL!!!!
