COUNTING MY BLESSINGS.....one by one

- My husband is alive after hitting ice on I-15 Sunday as he drove to Idaho Falls for Crew's blessing. A semi-truck behind him would have smashed him to smithereens if he hadn't let the car go into the barrow pit in the middle of the freeway. Miraculously, the only injury was to Jocelyn's car with a huge round hole in her front bumper. I am so thankful that John made it safely to be with us and that he is the witty "Monkish" man I love.
- A sure gospel foundation to help me "stand steadfast and immovable" as the world around us is crumbling with uncertainty, materialism, and criticism. I am thankful for my testimony.
- Being a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. I am so thankful for the pure joy I am blessed to receive with the different roles I have in my life. I am thankful I am a woman at this time in the world.
- Pasta, diet coke, salads, Union Grill's Caramel Bread Pudding, and mashed potatoes and gravy. I am thankful I love to cook and love to eat.....
- Laughing, dancing, reading, hugging, smiling, learning something new, making memories, a clean house, sweet new baby smells, games, flowers and blue skies. I am thankful that simple things bring such joy to me.
