TOMATO DAYS QUEEN CONTEST AND FAMILY CRAZINESS

Tomato Days in Hooper is always on Labor Day. They are famous for their hamburgers with eggs on them......haven't tried it but everyone who does eat it loves it. Maybe I will this year. But in order to have Tomato Days, they must have a RODEO QUEEN to oversee the events. We were lucky enough to watch Kenzie do her magic. She was magnificent. I could swear that she and her horse which she lovingly calls AL, were made for each other. You would think they had been together since he was a colt. She has only had him one month. So I snapped a few pictures of our time together...so glad that Meg, Em and Cannon could be with us this time. We were all happy that the judges chose Kenzie as the queen.

Cannon, Em, Mindy, Meg, Ashlyn, and Grandma Char looking on during the horsemanship portion of the competition

Kenzie and little sister soaking it all in....do I see a another future queen?

Dylan was the handy camerman

I am totally amazed by my sister....she can do anything.....wash the horse, load the horse, hook the trailer to the truck, drive through rush hour traffic on I-15 pulling the trailer to go all over Utah, and then a hundred other things to prepare for the competitions....oh, I can't forget her ability to do makeup and hair too.......she should write a book on "How to become a Rodeo Mom for Dummies." I am so proud of you Mindy and in awe. This picture shows Mindy fixing Kenzie's hair from ponytail to down the back.....ponytail for horsemanship and down for everything else. Of course it helps that Kenzie has the most hair of anyone I know (other than her mother) and that it has NEVER had one little touch of color. Oh to be that color of natural blonde.....
We ate a little pizza and Dylan entertained us with his use of balls the boys had....I don't need to say more

Notice everyone is looking at a You Tube video....but our comedian Dylan.

You took the best pictures ever and yes, I should write a book. Maybe I can pay for the price of diesel and entry fees. :) Thank you so much for supporting Kenz on Saturday ~ she has the best fan club!! Loved the pizza get-together on Saturday night and my funny little Dylan. What would we do without him? Probably be bored!! Thanks again for everything and I sure do love you!!

That sure was a day of family craziness. We would be all dull if it wasn't for Dylan. Thanks for a great night. Love you!
