MOTHER'S DAY PARTY FUN

We had such a fun and laugh filled Mother's Day party. Devin and Eileen graciously hosted us at their home. We had great food and company. We had our delayed Easter egg hunt and a competitive game of kick ball too. We were so happy to honor our own mother with a party. How we love her and appreciate her for the GREAT mom and woman she is.

Devin was the master griller

Devin and Lorin decided to see who could look the most "pregnant"

Their "muscle man" poses

Devin had to had a "Tebow" picture taken in his new jersey

I tried to have a nice picture of Mom and her five children taken...
unfortunately, Lorin has his eyes closed

So we took a crazy picture

Our mom has had a very fun tradition of an Easter egg hunt with colorful plastic eggs. Let me just say that the hung involves money. This year mom hid 485 eggs. The grandchildren all took a plastic garbage sack and the hunt began. In years gone by, when the older "boy" grandkids were living here...the hunt could be pretty competitive.

The three 18 year old granddaugthters....Makenzie, Taylor and Jocelyn

The girls wanted to include Gwendolyn too---cute cousins

Jocelyn found the least eggs with 45

Eleanore found the most eggs and ended up earning $55.00. WOW!

After the counting was finished, everyone decided to throw their eggs at Uncle Lorin

No protection from 485 plastic eggs

Eileen, Mindy and I were cheering for the grandkids

After the egg hunt, they threw the football

Makenzie was the quarterback

Lorin thanks for making us all laugh the entire party. You are a gem!

Devin had such a sore foot from his bad break just before Christmas that he couldn't play kickball with us. He was a great sport and took almost 200 pictures of us playing kickball on Mindy's camera. I will add some more pictures of kickball when I get them from Mins. Needless to say, I love our family and I appreciate the good times we share together. We are a very blessed family and the heart of our family is our amazing mother.

I am extremely sad to see these pictures and that we weren't there. Looks like a blast as usual. Glad we have such great and funny family.
