Happy, happy birthday to my very generous and wonderful husband. I feel very blessed to be John's wife. The first time I saw him at a church dance (he was with his girlfriend) I felt my heart KNOW that he was the one for me. John is a GREAT man and has so many qualities that I admire. John cares about his family so much. His children and grandchildren bring great joy to him. He wants daily updates about each of the children and grandchildren. I love that John is a gospel scholar. I always know that he KNOWS the answers to the questions about the scriptures, church history, and doctrine. He has been the gospel doctrine teacher for over 20 years. He is a master teacher and his class is always appreciated. John is a hard worker. Every day at 4:00 a.m. he is out the door. He is conscientious and skilled. He is also a fount of knowledge in his profession. John's sense of humor is legendary! He has a way with a joke to start his gospel doctrine classes that gets everyone to class on time.....they never want to miss THE JOKE. He makes me laugh daily with his one liners, wit, and view of life around us. I am never bored with John around. I am grateful that John is so generous to encourage family vacations with everyone and also suggest "mommy visits" for me to travel to help the children. Our family is extremely blessed to have John as husband and father. I love you, John, and I want every day to be a happy, happy day for you.

Oh, Happy Birthday John! He is really such a great guy! It is so funny because every Sunday my dad loves to tell us about gospel doctrine class and what John talks about and especially his jokes. I just love you guys! Hope today was great for him!
