VISITS WINDING DOWN

After the NCAA elite 8 games, we drove back to Ogden and went to La Ferrovia to eat. Laurel and Emily LOVE that restaurant. We met Jocelyn, Crew and mom at the restaurant. A scary and funny thing happened. Cannon needed to go to the restroom and so I said I would take him. The men and women's are right next to each other and he went in the men's while I went next door. All of a sudden, I hear this loud scared screaming...."Grandma!!! Grandma!!!" I jumped up, tried to put myself together in 3 seconds and opened my door. As you can imagine I had all sorts of scary thoughts in my head hearing my grandson scream. I said through the door, "Cannon, are you all right? Are you locked in?" I turned the knob and out he popped. The look on his face made my heart ache. He is such a fearless boy. I have never seen him scared like that before. Everything was fine and we returned to the table. Britt and John said, "Did you hear that scream?" Of course I was pretty sure the entire restaurant heard the scream. So my sweet Cannon gave his charming smile and said, "It was me." Event Over!
Jocelyn cuddling little Creed
Loved having the Portland kids here
Is Cannon grimacing or smiling? Crew looks adorable
The two doctors
The two redheads
One of my favorite pictures of Andrew
We went back home and watched the other basketball games
and Meg, Em, Grandma Char and I played cards.
I happened to hold Johnny's pillow at Christmas as they were going to the airport. I was appalled. I couldn't believe he could sleep on such a ghastly pillow. Luckily, I had one that he tried during this visit and with a little pressure he threw his old pillow away....can we say DUST MITES!

Em's family went to a hotel in Salt Lake for two days and the highlight was this indoor mini water park. The boys had a blast and could have spent 14 hours a day swimming. We drove Johnny and Britt to the airport and then went to the hotel to visit until Megan's plane left.
Colton loved the slide
Cannon was right behind his brother
Crew liked the shallow pool and its little slides
