35 years ago today, John and I were married in the Logan Temple. 35 years may seem short in the scheme of eternity---but they have flown by for me with great happiness. I certainly know without any doubt that the Lord intended our meeting one another and eventually marrying. How grateful I am for the WONDERFUL man that is my husband and the father of our children. How happy I am to look back on 35 years and cherish the many experiences we have shared---school, many, many moves, the Army, CHILDREN!, FAMILY, FRIENDS, work, serving in the church, vacations, laughing, crying, worrying, celebrating! John is the one I want for eternity. No wife could be more blessed. I love you John and look forward to many more anniversaries.
This picture was taken in June of 1975 when Richard and Susan were married in the Logan Temple. Our photographer showed up for our wedding reception when we were married, but put our date for pictures at the Logan Temple the day after we were married....does that make any sense? Notice John's snazzy suit and my dress my sweet mother made for me...it went all the way to my ankles. I loved that dress. I even had the Farrah Fawcet hair going on.
This was one of our engagement pictures. (Jocelyn already commented on my short skirt---Yikes---don't encourage this with the YW) John has his white shoes on with his plaid jacket. Just wait----men wearing white shoes will come back in fashion. It is fun to reminisce about our young romance --- all good memories.

I love the pictures! I remember your wedding day like it was yesterday and I was only 7 or 8. I kept hiding behind your last bridesmaid because I didn't want to stand in line. You two are amazing and I am glad you two found each other. Have a great day and try and spend a little 'time' together. (cheesecake for dessert) Love ya!!
