How could 8 years pass so quickly? I remember sitting in a rocking chair in Em's hospital room, crocheting around a blue blanket waiting for new little baby boy DeVries to be born. What a great day in our lives. We were so happy to have that precious little baby born. From then on, whenever Greg and Em came to visit we would rush madly out of the house to see who could get to Colton first. We were all totally in love with our little baby boy! We still love and adore him and have enjoyed watching him grow and develop so many talents. Eight of my favorite Colton memories:
***Attending Colton's Primary sacrament program when he was three and having him repeat from memory the 13th Article of Faith.
***All of our trips together....Disneyland, Disneyworld, the Disney Cruise, St. George, the BYU/Washington football game, and San Diego.
***Playing Monopoly with Colton and having him legitimately beat me.
***Listening to Colton as he expresses his passion for the Utah Jazz.
***Watching Colton play basketball, football, and baseball.
***Seeing what a wonderful big brother he is to Cannon and Crew.
***Going to movies together.
***ANY TIME I CAN SPEND WITH COLTON!
