Megan called this morning and told me that Todd had been in a terrible car accident last night on the 405 heading north from Long Beach to Marina Del Rey. A car crossed 4 lanes of traffic and cut Todd off. When Todd slammed on the brakes his car did a 360 degree turn and he ended up hitting the cement median head on. The Toyota Camry was totaled. The great miracle is that no other cars were in the HOV lane or the fast lane where his car turned and smashed. Think California busy freeways.....what a great blessing of safety! Poor Meg witnessed the crash from her rear view mirror, as she was driving ahead of Todd. She immediately called 911 and was put on hold for 10 minutes. She was able to drive off at the next exit, circle back and enter the freeway again, and drive to Todd and his car. Another miracle is that Todd wasn't seriously injured or killed. He is definitely banged up and sore. The police couldn't find a trace of the car that caused the accident. They got to bed about 3:30 am and were both up and getting ready for work by 6:30 am. They are amazing and so dedicated. I am grateful that Todd was spared. We love you Todd and so appreciate you being our wonderful son-in-law.

I am so thankful that Todd is okay!! I wish they could find the idiot that did that! Sorry about the car, but it is replaceable ~ Todd is NOT!!

I am so happy to here that this ended happily and everyone is ok...minus the car but that can be replaced! I can't believe that they were up and working with only three hours of sleep! WOW! Amazing people those two are!
Oh I am so glad that he is okay! That is so scary! I am amazed at those two! I am glad Megan was able to get back to him and that he didn't get hurt too badly!
