Celebrate the Ordinary

Our little Crew was delivered by C-section and thank goodness he was. His arm was stuck in Emily's rib (she certainly suffered for two months with pain) and the doctor had a hard time getting him out. All seemed well, but Crew had a little trouble breathing and so they took a few tests and found his blood sugar was extremely low. Crew was taken to the ICU for 48 hours. We worried and then after some sugar water in a bottle and a priesthood blessing by his daddy, Greg and his grandpa D, (Ron DeVries) he improved. We are so blessed. He was able to be in Emily's hospital room by Friday afternoon and he went home with Emily today.

Grandpa W, Laurel and I were able to drive to Idaho Falls for the day and help welcome Crew home. While Greg, Grandpa D and Grandpa W were at Colton's basketball game, I made an executive decision and ordered The Mountain from the cable company. We were able to watch BYU/Colorado State and I promised Greg I would pay the $5.00 monthly fee through the March Madness. Thanks Greg!
